Admittedly, this isn’t the sexiest project. Promote KFC’s free delivery all week in honor of National Fried Chicken Day. However, this project holds a special place in my heart, purely because it was my first assignment at MullenLowe. Developing resilience through rejection, building out a full-fledged idea from a whiteboard scribble, listening to Weezer’s blue album on repeat while thinking of chicken puns all led to my art director Sydney and I’s first work as part of the octopus.

This time, he needed to tell the USofA that he was releasing koozies… and other merch (client really wanted us to focus on the koozies). Not only did I write copy for Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (now known as X, ugh), but I also wrote all the captions for the merch on kfcshop.com
